Fenerbahce see off ASVEL, Kursk get it done in OT, while Reyer Venezia enjoy rare success

MUNICH (Germany) - Fenerbahce Oznur Kablo shone down the stretch on Wednesday night to see off LDLC ASVEL Feminin, while Dynamo Kursk enjoyed an entertaining overtime triumph at Arka Gdynia.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce left it late as they produced a super 24-8 fourth quarter to ease away from Lyon and take an 82-67 victory to move to 5-2 for the season in Group B.

There were three key contributions with Cecilia Zandalasini netting 24 points, Alina Iagupova firing 21 points and Kiah Stokes an important focal point too, with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals.

Meanwhile, Dynamo Kursk are breathing a sigh of relief after they managed to deny the in-form Arka Gdynia a fourth straight win. The Russians needed the extra period to get it done 92-86, with an inspirational 28 points and 15 rebounds from recent signing Glory Johnson underpinning the triumph.

It's been a rough season back in EuroLeague Women for Reyer Venezia, but the Italians doubled their win tally for the season by seeing off fellow strugglers TTT Riga, 68-60. The twin tower combo of Anete Steinberga and Gintare Petronyte was dominant and combined for 30 points, with Lithuanian ace Petronyte also completing a double-double with 10 rebounds.

Bourges Basket produced some of their best basketball of the season to finally attain a winning record for the first time at 4-3 in Group A. That came off the back of a 66-57 win at Le Prado against Nadezhda. Alexia Chartereau paced the victory with 19 points and 10 boards.

UMMC Ekaterinburg and ZVVZ USK Praha underlined why they both look like locks to head to Final Four as they each clocked up huge victories.

ZVVZ USK Praha were far too strong for Castors Braine who were sunk 102-62 as Alyssa Thomas produced the best display by any player in the competition this season. She amassed a jaw-dropping haul of 26 points, 18 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists and an efficiency valuation of 45.

UMMC  powered their way past Gelecek Koleji Cukurova 112-56 as Emma Meesseman had yet another night to remember. She shot 11 of 12 from the field for 28 points, with frontcourt partner Maria Vadeeva also impressing with 19 points and 9 boards, while Courtney Vandersloot excelled from the backcourt with 15 points and 11 assists.
