Career high for Zandalasini leads Fenerbahce to victory; UMMC dominant in Stewart debut

MUNICH (Germany) - Cecilia Zandalasini claimed a EuroLeague Women career high on Wednesday night as Fenerbahce Oznur Kablo continued their dominance of Group B.

Zandalasini poured in 30 points during a one-sided 74-58 victory against the visiting BLMA as the Turkish side moved to 11-2 with one game to go in the Regular Season.

The personal EuroLeague Women best from the Italian ace - both while representing Fenerbahce and her former club, Famila Schio - was well-timed with Alina Iagupova missing from the lineup.

Meanwhile, Nadezhda shrugged off the blow of having recently lost star guard Yvonne Turner for the remainder of the season due to injury.

They went to TTT Riga and emerged with a 65-55 success, with Anastasiya Verameyenka completing a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds.

UMMC welcomed new signing Breanna Stewart into the mix and they wasted no time in showing their power and authority with a scorching 29-6 start at Le Prado against Bourges.

That set the foundation for an 87-51 win, with Courtney Vandersloot, Alba Torrens, Jonquel Jones and Emma Meesseman all providing double-digit scoring returns. In her EuroLeague Women comeback, Stewart finished with 4 points on 1-of-6 shooting in 21 minutes of action.

ZVVZ USK Praha were far too hot to handle for Reyer Venezia as they powered their way to an 89-57 triumph. Brionna Jones was on fire and finished the contest with 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Alyssa Thomas weighed in with 21 points and 7 rebounds.

Gelecek Koleji Cukurova dented the hopes of Castors Braine making EuroCup Women by claiming a 70-60 victory. The win was founded on a fine 18 points and 7 assists from Alex Bentley, plus 16 points from Lara Sanders. Celeste Trahan-Davis added 23 points and 10 rebounds for the losing side.
