Road wins for Olympiacos and TTT Riga seal Regular Season places

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Olympiacos and TTT Riga joined Nadezhda in booking their spots in the Regular Season after coming through their Qualifiers.

Pinelopi Pavlopoulou's game-winner for the Greek side in the final 10 seconds secured an overall 110-109 triumph, proving the difference in the tie following Tuesday's draw.

Wisla CANPACK had a combined 31 points from Leonor Rodriguez and Jordin Canada as they battled back from a 7-point half-time deficit before coming up short in an agonizing 46-47 home defeat.

"We did a great job on defense. We knew that we had to get back in transition and defend our paint. The other thing was taking care of the rebounds," Pavlopoulou commented after the game. "We did great job for the most part of the game. Our team was ready and we believed that we could show an even better version of ourselves."

Meanwhile, TTT Riga backed up an 11-point home victory with a convincing 56-73 success on the road to see off Reyer Venezia, despite a game-high 20 points from Anete Steinberga.

The visitors had four players in double figures with Sheylani Peddy leading the way with 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting to go with 5 steals in the win. Riga made a bright start and cemented their dominant position with a 22-12 third period.

The final spot in the Regular Season will be confirmed next Wednesday, as ESBVA-LM host KSC Szekszard in the second leg, facing a narrow 3-point deficit.
