CCC Polkowice go four in a row, Praha hit a tournament high

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - There were big EuroLeague Women wins for CCC Polkowice and ZVVZ USK Praha on Wednesday night as Polkowice won their fourth straight game and Praha passed the century mark.

Having opened their campaign with consecutive losses, CCC Polkowice are now flying as they made it four in a row with a resounding 70-36 triumph against Nadezhda, who scored the lowest tally of any team in a game this season. Lynetta Kizer impressed for CCC Polkowice with 16 points and 7 rebounds.

Nadezhda weren't the only team to labor offensively, with ESBVA-LM also misfiring - something in stark contrast to their opponents ZVVZ USK Praha who became the first team to rack up triple digits this season as they posted a fine 62-101 success in Villeneuve..

While Croatian center Marija Rezan impressed with a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds, it was all eyes back on her in-form teammate Alyssa Thomas .She recorded 19 points and 10 boards from a super 9-of-11 shooting effort.

There was a night to remember for Kaleena Lewis as she fired a season high tally of 32 points to get Carolo Basket over the hump  of a challenging couple of weeks. Her haul came against the still winless Olympaicos who were defeated 73-68.

There was a familiar feel to Dynamo Kursk maintaining their perfect run in the tournament as they dug out yet another tight success - this time pipping Perfumerias Avenida 56-58 on their travels. Sonja Petrovic and Breanna Stewart both made huge plays in crunch time to help their team survive. Stewart finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Finally, Bourges Basket recovered from their overtime loss to UMMC last week by also winning on the road, as they outpaced the struggling Castors Braine by 65-78.
