Yakin Dogu win at Schio, Toliver rejoins UMMC

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Yakin Dogu Universitesi proved too strong for Famila Schio as they won Thursday's only EuroLeague Women clash 72-65, while UMMC revealed they have re-signed Kristi Toliver.

Yakin Dogu Universitesi improved to 7-1 and are the leaders of the Group, despite blowing a 16-point lead in the contest - only to recover and then pull away again after Schio had briefly taken the lead.

The winning side handed a first EuroLeague Women outing to Sandrine Gruda and the French standout went up against her compatriots Endy Miyem and Isabelle Yacoubou. She finished with 10 points and 8 rebounds, while Kayla McBride top-scored with 19.

Also in Group B and standing at 6-2 with four straight victories behind them, UMMC Ekaterinburg aren't showing any signs of complacency. With Diana Taurasi struggling for both form and fitness, they have again turned to naturalized Slovak Republic guard Toliver.

She has played for UMMC during the last three EuroLeague Women seasons and will compete in Russia for a seventh consecutive campaign, having previously suited up for Dynamo Moscow.
