Will Gruda go strong against the French Connection?

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Who will win the battle of the France national teammates this week when Sandrine Gruda goes up against her compatriots Endy Miyem and Isabelle Yacoubou?

The new Yakin Dogu Universitesi recruit will look to go to work in the paint as the Istanbul side seek to cement top spot in their Group. Or, will it be Miyem and Yacoubou who come up shining for the similarly high-flying Italian hosts - also coached by former France playcaller, Pierre Vincent.

Those are just some of the killer questions for Week 8 of the Regular Season. But, there are many more and here's our pick.

- He has just landed the Russian Cup and can Lucas Mondelo now go 25 consecutive EuroLeague Women wins when Dynamo Kursk head to the in-form Castors Braine [looking for three wins in a row]?

- Are the lower ranked teams going to take advantage of their home court and get revenge from opening-day away losses as we tip off the second-half of the Regular Season?

- Is Ayse Cora of Fenerbahce the most improved player of the season by far and can she inspire her team at a wounded Nadezhda still hurting from their 1-6 record that has not truly reflected their play?

- Now settled into Salamanca, is it time for Belgian national team ace Kim Mestdagh to get the scoreboard rolling for Perfumerias Avenida when they head to BLMA?

- Or, will new BLMA signing Maimouna Diarra get the French club back on track, with the Senegal star part of the Los Angeles Sparks squad?
