Schio, Praha complete Quarter-Final lineup

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Famila Schio and ZVVZ USK Praha both sealed their places in the Quarter-Finals after the conclusion of the Regular Season on Wednesday.

Perfumerias Avenida needed an 11-point victory to pip Schio to the final spot in Group B, but fell agonisingly short, despite a 65-58 success.

Isabelle Yacoubou had a game-high 22 points to keep the visitors close as they still advance, despite conceding a 22-12 final period to fall to defeat on the road.

Crystal Langhorne scored 22 points to lead Sopron Basket to a 57-50 home win against Bourges Basket in a result that subsequently secured ZVVZ USK Praha’s spot in the last eight.

With the pressure off, Praha then ensured they did not need to rely on results elsewhere as Amanda Zahui posted a stellar 28 points and 11 rebounds to lead her side past Castors Braine, 68-75.

Galatasaray were resigned to heading into the EuroCup Women last eight ahead of their final game and they would be joined in the competition by ESBVA-LM after they powered their way to a 76-62 triumph over the Istanbul side.

Jo Leedham led the way with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists with Johanne Gomis netting a game-high 24 points to help their side to a fifth win.

Nadezhda fell to a 93-71 loss away at Yakin Dogu Universitesi, but still had their place in EuroCup Women confirmed after Wisla Can-Pack squandered their opportunity with a 62-68 home defeat against Fenerbahce.

Kayla McBride had 24 points with Courtney Vandersloot adding 13 and 13 assists to help YDU finish 12-2 in top spot in Group B.

Fenerbahce's victory gave them hope of a home Quarter-Final before UMMC Ekaterinburg cemented second place as they eased to a 61-100 victory on the road over BLMA behind 25 points from Emma Meesseman.

Meanwhile, Dynamo Kursk completed back-to-back unbeaten Regular Season campaigns as they finished 14-0 with an 83-73 victory over CCC Polkowice.

The defending champions led by 27 at half-time with Sonja Petrovic producing another all-round display with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals.
