Plaudits keep coming for top performing birthday girl, Tikhonenko

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Kseniia Tikhonenko was all smiles on Thursday night after topping her birthday celebrations with a 100-56 victory and Top Performer honors.

The Russian post player turned 25-years-old, and the congratulations kept coming off and on the court after she went 8-of-10 from the field on her way to 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in Nadezhda's blowout win over visiting BLMA.

Her performance came in just over 20 minutes of playing time and accumulated in an efficiency ranking of 30 to lead the Week 11 Top Performers.

Tikhonenko is joined on the team by Fenerbahce duo Aerial Powers and Kelsey Plum, who dazzled in the Turkish juggernauts' thrilling 80-77 triumph over UMMC Ekaterinburg.

Plum finished the game with a stat line of 24 points on a highly-efficient 6-of-7 shooting from the field and 8-of-9 from the charity stripe, and added 4 rebounds and 3 assists for an efficiency of 28, while Powers had 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to her name.

Despite finding herself on the losing side, UMMC center Brittney Griner earned her spot in the lineup of the week thanks to an efficiency rating of 27, after posting a game-high 26 points as well as 5 rebounds and 3 blocks.

The Top Performers are rounded out by Sopron guard Yvonne Turner, who also ended her day at the office with an efficiency of 27. Turner filled the boxscore with 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals, as Sopron confirmed second spot in Group A with an 82-56 win against ESBVA-LM.
