SCHIO (EuroLeague Women) - Famila Schio shrugged off their injury problems to complete an impressive 62-49 win against Fenerbahce as Pierre Vincent recorded his first EuroLeague Women win with the Italians.

Missing the likes of Kathrin Ress in the paint, Schio center Isabelle Yacoubou was full of energy and emotion against her former club and made up for the absence of her frontcourt colleague.

She came up with some big defensive plays during the first half in particular and then set Schio on the path to victory down the stretch.

With the contest having had little daylight throughout, Yacoubou converted a powerful 'and-1' play with just over five minutes remaining on the clock to give the Italian side a valuable 49-42 cushion and snap the game open.

Schio never looked back, with their impressive defense limiting Fenerbace to less than 50 points and Jolene Anderson doing the business on the glass with 13 rebounds. Francesca Dotto also excelled as she handed out 9 assists.

The home side also enjoyed extracting revenge for an agonizing overtime defeat in the same fixture early last season.
