    Galatasaray make a double swoop

ISTANBUL (EuroLeague Women) - Galatasaray have bolstered their wafer-thin squad with the addition of Kaela Davis and Tugba Tasci as they look to arrest a recent EuroLeague Women and domestic slump.

ISTANBUL (EuroLeague Women) - Galatasaray have bolstered their wafer-thin squad with the addition of Kaela Davis and Tugba Tasci as they look to arrest a recent EuroLeague Women and domestic slump.

Having recently welcomed the return to fitness of star scorer Alexandria Quigley, Galatasaray fans and head coach Maria Maljkovic will be heartened by the arrival of another WNBA performer in Davis.

The extra offensive firepower she could provide will be welcomed to Galatasaray, in what will be her first pro-season outside of the States. Galatasaray will hope she can fire them into the EuroLeague Women Quarter-Finals, or perhaps more realistically into the latter stages of EuroCup Women.

Tasci meanwhile will help take the pressure off the main rotation and particularly in the Turkish League games as Galatasaray have now lost four of their past five games.

The guard returns to the club more than a decade after she last wore Galatasaray colors.
