Fenerbahce edge overtime thriller, Wisla Can-Pack double win tally to kickstart 2018

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - The Regular Season action continued following a short break with Fenerbahce coming through an epic overtime encounter in the pick of the action.

BLMA were on the brink of an impressive home scalp before falling to an agonising 75-76 loss in the extra period.

Aerial Powers came up big again for the visitors with 31 points along with 11 rebounds, seeing Fenerbahce joining UMMC Ekaterinburg and Yakin Dogu Universitesi on 8-2 at the top of Group B.

Wisla CAN PACK claimed their second win of the campaign with a hard-fought 52-48 triumph at home to Perfumerias Avenida.

Leonor Rodriguez led the hosts with 14 points as they held off a late rally from their opponents to move to 2-8 in their group. 

UMMC Ekaterinburg picked up where they left off in 2017 as they recorded a sixth-straight victory with a dominant finish securing an 82-77 success over Yakin Dogu Universitesi.

Alba Torrens starred with a scintillating 30-point outing, whilst adding 7 rebounds and 4 steals to help her side move into the three-way tie at the top.

Kayla McBride had 24 points in defeat with Courtney Vandersloot posting an impressive double-double of 15 points and 16 assists.

Meanwhile, Bourges Basket continued their own winning run as a convincing 61-79 victory at Galatasaray earned the French side a fourth-straight success.

Valeriane Ayayi was just short of a triple-double after producing a 22-10-8 stat-line for the visitors with Marine Johannes also netting 22 points.

ZVVZ USK Praha improved to 6-4 in Group A with a 51-61 win away at CCC Polkowice as the trio of Dewanna Bonner, Amanda Zahui and Katerina Elhotova combined for 43 points.

Celeste Trahan-Davis led Castors Braine to a 77-61 win over ESBVA-LM with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Anete Steinberga edged her teammate in scoring with 22 points.
