    Double delight for Meesseman who takes MVP honors

    MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Emma Meesseman had double reason to celebrate after she was named MVP after her red-hot display took UMMC to their fourth EuroLeague Women title.

    MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Emma Meesseman had double reason to celebrate after she was named MVP after her red-hot display took UMMC to their fourth EuroLeague Women title.

    Harvesting a superb 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the 72-53 victory against Sopron Basket which included a half-time buzzer beater, the first thing the Belgian standout did was congratulate the host club.


    She said: "I think it was a great game and show for women's basketball and a great atmosphere too.

    "We really wanted it and we played as a team.

    "It was great to see such a fantastic public inside the Arena supporting women's basketball," added Meesseman.
