  • For the first-time ever, Sopron will play host to the EuroLeague Women Final Four. Hungarian club Sopron were the last team to book their spot among the elite four, with Fenerbahce forcing their best-of-three series to a deciding third game.

    At the Final Four, they will play host to Russian club and defending champions Dynamo Kursk, competition newcomers from Turkey, Yakin Dogu Universitesi, and 2016 champions UMMC Ekaterinburg, also from Russia.

    Sopron is a women's basketball city, having in recent years played host to a group during the Group Phase of EuroBasket Women 2015; FIBA Women's U18 European Championship 2016 and 2017; and this summer, will welcome the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship.

  • The Media Accreditation process for the EuroLeague Women Final Four 2018 in Sopron, Hungary, April 20-22 is now open.

    Media representatives wishing to apply for credentials are requested to do so only online through the FIBA Media Portal.
