Buzzer beater sends Uni Gyor to Play-Off Round 1; Reyer win OT thriller

MUNICH (Germany) - Uni Gyor erupted in celebration after they sealed their place in the Play-Off Round 1 with a spectacular game-winner at the buzzer, while Umana Reyer Venezia also won a thriller.

Needing a victory to make sure they would advance, Uni Gyor completed a famous 70-69 win at Botas Spor in Group F. Aaryn Ellenberg-Wiley made the memorable buzzer beater from deep, although it was also a towering 15 points and 13 rebounds from Beatrice Monpremier that laid the foundation for victory.

There was also drama in a stunning Group H contest between Umana Reyer Venezia and Lointek Gernika Bizkaia, with the former denying their opponents a ticket to the next stage.

Reyer prevailed 68-65 in overtime, with Awak Kuier scoring to tie the game and then coming up with what proved to be a game saving block. Fittingly, she had a team high 19 points to go with 9 boards.
