EuroCup Women Final Four lineup confirmed

MUNICH (Germany) - The EuroCup Women Final Four field has been finalized, with Carolo Basket joining KSC Szekszard, Reyer Venezia and Valencia Basket Club after their respective successes in the Round of 16 and the Quarter-Finals.

Carolo Basket took the last spot on Friday as they ended the surprise run of Swiss side BCF Elfic Fribourg with an 85-56 victory, founded on the inside strength of frontcourt duo Endy Miyem and Evelyn Akhator who scored 18 and 14 points respectively.

The French club has reached the last four of the competition for the first time, a feat also achieved by KSC Szekszard, with the Hungarians sealing their berth off the back of a 77-67 Quarter-Finals win against Elazig Il Ozel Idare.

The Final Four will witness three clubs who are breaking new ground since Valencia Basket Club are also on a historic run too. They advanced after seeing off ESBVA-LM 81-67  to continue their unbeaten campaign.

Also without a defeat to their name, Reyer Venezia will be the only club that knows what it is like to be involved at this stage, having made the Final in 2018. They will be searching for a return to the title bout, having outpaced ACS Sepsi-SIC 78-64 in the Quarter-Finals.

Reyer Venezia will now face KSC Szekszard in the Semi-Finals, with Valencia Basket Club going up against Carolo Basket.

With the Regular Season and all subsequent phases of the competition organized in single venue hubs to ensure the health and safety of all participants, a Final Four will be organized in EuroCup Women for the first time since 2005.

The location of the Final Four, set to take place from April 9-11, will be announced at a later stage.
