Turcinovic takes Top Performer honor

MUNICH (Germany) - Basket Landes are celebrating making the EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals and that was largely down to a season-best showing from Lidija Turcinovic, who lands our Top Performer award.

The French guard hit top gear as Landes blew away Orman Genclik 102-64 in the second leg of the Round of 8, with Turcinovic amassing 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. She will now try to make it a memorable double by taking the Fans' MVP honor via the interactive vote below.

Perfumerias Avenida teammates Tiffany Hayes and Temi Fagbenle will provide fierce competition, since the duo both made our Team of the Week after their side stormed past Sparta&K M.R Vidnoje 92-61. The former dropped 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals, while Fagbenle shot the lights out for her 16 points, making 70 percent from the floor and also grabbing 7 boards.

Spain will also be represented in the Quarter-Finals by first-timers Valencia Basket and once again it was Joy Brown who led them as they completed a 72-50 success against Lointek Gernika Bizkaia. The forward  came up with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks in the victory.

Meanwhile Maria Conde did everything she could to propel CCC Polkowice into the last eight of the tournament, but they fell short despite her excellent double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds at Carolo Basket.
