EuroCup Women Quarter-Final field confirmed ahead of Friday's draw

MUNICH (Germany) - The field for the EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals was confirmed on Thursday, with the conclusion of the EuroCup Women Round of 8 and the EuroLeague Women Regular Season.

The four teams advancing from the Round of 8, ranked based on the Regular Season, are:

1. Perfumerias Avenida (ESP)

2. Valencia Basket Club SAD (ESP)

3. Basket Landes (FRA)

4. Carolo Basket (FRA)

They will be joined in the Quarter-Finals by four teams from the EuroLeague Women, who finished fifth and sixth in their respective Regular Season groups.

These teams, ranked according to their Regular Season record, are:

1. Dynamo Kursk (RUS)

2. Spar Citylift Girona (ESP)

3. Reyer Venezia (ITA)

4. Castors Braine (BEL)

The Quarter-Finals will be played in a home-and-away format, with the two legs scheduled for March 12 and 19.

The pairings will be drawn at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland on Friday at 11:00 CET. The draw, to be livestreamed on the official  EuroCup Women Twitter page, will be made without restrictions, with all teams being drawn from the same pot.

Should two EuroCup Women teams be paired against each other, the higher-ranked team, based on the Regular Season results, will have home-court advantage in the return leg.

In the case of two EuroLeague Women teams being drawn to play each other, the teams will be classified according to their results in the Regular Season, with the higher-ranked club playing the return leg at home.

Should a EuroCup Women team be drawn against a EuroLeague Women team, the EuroCup Women side will enjoy home-court advantage in the return leg.

This principle applies for all subsequent rounds of EuroCup Women.
