Unstoppable Ndour earns Top Performer honors

MUNICH (EuroCup Women) –Astou Ndour wreaked havoc under the baskets on Thursday night, as she led Cukurova Basketbol to another win and claimed Top Performer honors in the process.

The Spanish international was unstoppable, making 11-of-16 from two-point range and adding a pair of three-pointers on her way to 32 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Cukurova kept their perfect record intact as they took down fellow Turkish side Botas Spor 84-63.

Ndour's performance returned an efficiency rating of 44, which remained unmatched and overshadowed some other outstanding performances during Week 5 of the Regular Season.

In an all-French clash in Group J, Tarbes GB remained perfect with an 84-73 win at Basket Landes, as Alexis Prince erupted for 41 points, including 5-of-7 shooting from behind the arc, setting a new single-game record for the season. The 24-year-old added 9 rebounds to end her day at the office with an efficiency of 38.

While Cukurova and Tarbes had already booked their spots in the next round, Wisla CANPACK punched their ticket this week as they defeated Tsmoki-Minsk 77-69 to go 4-1 in Group C. Leonor Rodriguez was red-hot, shooting 10-of-13 from the field en route to 27 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals to make the Team of the Week.

She is joined in the backcourt by Chloe Wells after the Nymburk guard flirted with a triple-double in her team's narrow 65-61 win over Cinkarna Celje. Wells finished the game with an all-action 16 points, 9 rebounds, 12 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks to her name.

The Czechs kept their chances in Group H alive but will face a tough task on the final game day of the Regular Season when they host group leaders KSC Szekszard. The Hungarian side improved to 4-1 with a win over Ruzomberok, 87-72, thanks in large part to Erica McCall.

The US power forward continues to impress and is completing the Top Performer lineup after posting 25 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 4 blocks.
