GERNIKA (EuroCup Women) - Spanish side Lointek Gernika Bizkaia moved a step closer to the EuroCup Women Regular Season with a massive 90-50 win against the visiting Namur.
The locals went home happy after the first-leg matchup, having watched their side race out of the blocks and tear their Belgian opponents apart.
A blistering opening paved the way for a one-sided success as Gernika raced into a 27-9 advantage and never looked back.

Great Britain's veteran playmaker Rachael Vanderwal set the tone and ended up with 16 points, 5 boards and 4 assists.
Her good work was mirrored by Valeriya Berezhynska who accumulated 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, while Gintare Mazionyte shot the lights out for her 17 points - only missing one shot all night.
The second leg will be played at Namur on Thursday night.
