MUNICH (EuroCup Women) - Frida Eldebrink caught fire to help Atomeromu KSC Szekszard past their EuroLeague Women Qualifiers heartbreak and off to a winning start in their EuroCup Women campaign.

MUNICH (EuroCup Women) - Frida Eldebrink caught fire on Wednesday to help Atomeromu KSC Szekszard past their EuroLeague Women Qualifiers heartbreak and off to a winning start in their EuroCup Women campaign.

The Hungarian side cruised past competition newcomers Cinkarna Celje, 90-56, with five players scoring in double figures. However, it was Eldebrink who stole the limelight. The Swedish ace filled the stats sheet with 27 points, including 6-of-9 shooting from behind the arc, 9 assists and 6 rebounds, good for a week-high efficiency ranking of 33.

Slightly behind her and making up the frontcourt in the Team of the Week are Viktoryia Hasper of Tsmoki-Minsk and Elizabeth Williams of Botas Spor.

Belarus international Hasper racked up a 30-point, 13-rebound double-double for an index of 31, as Tsmoki-Minsk stunned Besiktas in Istanbul, 68-63. Williams equaled the efficiency mark after recording 22 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in Botas' 82-65 win at A3 Basket.

Williams’ play in the post was perfectly complemented by Jewell Loyd, as the guard collected an all-action 24 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to also earn a spot in the lineup of the week.

She is joined in the backcourt by MBK Ruzomberok's Janeesa Jeffery. The 27-year-old flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists, but her effort could not prevent a narrow 70-71 loss at Basketball Nymburk.
