Win or go home: Eight teams fight for four remaining Quarter-Final spots

PRAGUE / HRADEC KRALOVE (FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017) - Spain, Turkey, Belgium and France have earned an extra day of rest. Eight teams will meet on Tuesday to decide who will join them in the Quarter-Finals.

All eyes again will be on the defending champions Serbia, who found their form to oust Slovenia in their last Group Phase match and avoid an ignominious exit. They take on Latvia with the winner playing Spain. Latvia are sweating on the fitness of star point guard Elina Babkina, who limped out of their final Group Phase match with Belgium.

With adversity staring them in the face, Serbia were back to their clinical best on Monday

Italy will be hoping that the terrific form of Cecilia Zandalasini continues when they take on Hungary, with the winner meeting Belgium in the Quarter-Finals. Laura Macchi's unfortunate injury casts a shadow over the camp, but it may serve to galvanize the team. Hungary need their stellar backcourt of Zsofia Fegyverneky and Courtney Vandersloot to shine if they are to have a chance.

Taisiia Udodenko has been fantastic so far for Ukraine, and with Alina Iagupova alongside her, they will give Slovak Republic a lot to handle. The winner of that tie will face France on Thursday. Barbora Balintova has been Slovak Republic's shining light so far - can she raise her game still further and guide her team to the Quarter-Finals?

Prince will have to play a big hand for Russia to continue their journey in Czech Republic

Russia will look to their stars, playmaker Epiphanny Prince and teenage center Maria Vadeeva, to be influential in their showdown with Greece, who are receiving magnificent contributions from veteran Evanthia Maltsi. The winner there will meet Turkey in the Quarter-Finals.
