Down but not out: Which 0-2 teams will still qualify for FIBA EuroBasket 2025?

MUNICH (Germany) - We are only two games into the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers, but the alarm bells will already be ringing for some countries as their Final Round hopes took a hit in the first window.

While eight teams went unbeaten in February's action, there are also eight nations that must now wait until November in search of a first victory.

It was a window of upsets across Europe and further proof that nobody is safe in the Qualifiers with reigning EuroBasket champions Spain going down twice in defeats to Latvia and Belgium.

Cyprus and Poland have both started 0-2, but have the comfort of knowing their places are already assured as two of the four co-hosts for FIBA EuroBasket 2025. Georgia, Hungary, Netherlands and Ukraine all played at the last edition in 2022, while Slovakia are hoping to advance for the very first time with a pivotal double-header with Spain later this year.

At the same stage of the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers, there were seven teams that lost both games in the first window. Of those sides, six failed to qualify with only Turkiye able to complete a turnaround that actually began off the back of three consecutive defeats.

So, who will be turning those early woes into jubilant scenes in the current campaign? Vote below for the team you think has the best chance of qualifying for FIBA EuroBasket 2025:
