Groups drawn for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers First Round

MUNICH (Germany) - The groups for the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers First Round were confirmed at Friday's draw in Germany, with the 10 participating teams learning their opponents.

The Pre-Qualifiers field was sorted into three groups, with one group of four teams and two groups of three teams.

The results of the draw are as follows:

Group A: Switzerland; Austria; Cyprus; Ireland
Group B: Romania; Luxembourg; Albania
Group C: Denmark; Kosovo; Norway

Each team will play the other teams in its group in home and away games in a Round Robin system.

The First Round of the Pre-Qualifiers will take place in three windows on November 25-28, 2021, February 24-27, 2022, and June 30-July 3, 2022.

Four teams – the three group winners and the best-ranked second-placed team – will qualify for the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Pre-Qualifiers Second Round to be played in three windows in August 2022, November 2022, and February 2023.
