Team of Gameday 4: Lundberg, Marcinkovic, McFadden, Olaseni, Tessitori

MUNICH (Germany) - The second window of the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers finished off with seven teams booking their tickets to the big continental showcase. While there were fewer surprises, Sunday and Monday did bring a fair share of outstanding performances.

Here is a glance at the five players who shined the brightest for their respective nations on Gameday 4.

Gabriel Lundberg of Denmark, Croatian Pavle Marcinkovic, Thaddus McFadden of Georgia, Great Britain's Gabe Olaseni and Italian Amedeo Tessitori make up the Team of Gameday 4 in the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers.

Lundberg collected the highest efficiency of the gameday at 36 in Denmark's 91-90 upset of Czech Republic as he picked up an incredible 38 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists.

Marcinkovic was Croatia's main man in the 87-72 victory over Sweden as he tallied 20 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals for an efficiency value of 29. That was the same number that Olaseni earned as he had 28 points, 8 rebounds and 1 block in the 74-59 win against Montenegro.

 

McFadden paced Georgia with an efficiency of 27 in the 91-84 win over Switzerland, leading the way with 24 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists. And rounding out the quintet is Tessitori, who collected 27 points, 9 rebounds and 1 steals for an efficiency of 26 in a 70-66 triumph over Russia.
