    Can Croatia find a way to stop Giannis, Greece?

    Giannis Antetokounmpo marked a return to the national team by setting a new scoring record with 40 points in the FIBA Basketball World Cup European Qualifiers. On the opening day of Group C action, it's Croatia tasked with stopping the 'Greek Freak'.

    Dario Saric and Ivica Zubac join Bojan Bogdanovic as the key trio for Croatia as they look to put their recent World Cup disappointment behind them and prove their talent in the continent. Greece are strong medal candidates and they could make an early statement.

    An in-form Finland open up the day's action in Prague as they take on Israel in a repeat of their recent encounter in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers before the hosts Czech Republic later go up against Poland.

    In Group C, Italy close the evening session against Estonia in Milan following an intriguing battle between Great Britain and Ukraine as the two sides will look to signal their intentions of making it through to the Round of 16.
