ISTANBUL (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - Aleksei Shved has earned Semi-Final Top Performer honors after almost taking Russia single-handedly past Serbia to the Final.

The sharp-shooting Russian made six three-pointers on the way to a game-high 33 points, bringing Russia back from 16 points down, to be within two of Serbia late in the game. His effort, albeit in vein, earned him an efficiency ranking of 26.

Joining him in the Top Performer's backcourt was his foe from Friday night, Bogdan Bogdanovic who had 24 points, leading Serbia back to their first Final since 2009.

Fellow Serb Boban Marjanovic towered over the Russian frontcourt - literally and figuratively - to finish the game with 18 points and 6 rebounds.

There was also space on the team for two Slovenians - Luka Doncic and Anthony Randolph. Doncic came close to a triple-double in his side's victory over Spain, ending the game with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Going to work inside the paint, and cutting out for the odd three, Randolph had 15 points on three-for-three shooting from downtown.
