Russia hold off British comeback to finish Group Phase on high note
ISTANBUL (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - Russia ended their Group Phase campaign with an 82-70 victory over Great Britain behind a 30-point game from Aleksei Shved.
The 28-year-old guard went 6-of-9 from deep and also had 8 assists, Vitaly Fridzon collected 14 points, while Timofey Mozgov double-doubled with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
For Great Britain, Dan Clark had 21 points and 6 assists, Gabe Olaseni finished the game with 19 points and 9 rebounds, with Gareth Murray chipping in with 10 points.
