    Spain make final cut, roster set at 12

    ZARAGOZA (2016 FIBA U17 World Championship) - Spain head coach Alejandro Martinez made the final cut for his team for 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship, setting up the 12-man roster for the home side.

    ZARAGOZA (2016 FIBA U17 World Championship) - Spain head coach Alejandro Martinez made the final cut for his team for 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship, setting up the 12-man roster for the home side. 

    Martinez had trimmed his team down to 13 players a week before the tournament but the coach cut Ignacio Rosa three days before Spain tip off their U17 Worlds campaign.

    Rosa played a solid role in Spain’s team at the 2015 FIBA U16 European Championship, averaging 6.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks. 

    Spain will take on Argentina, Lithuania and Mali in Group B in Zaragoza.
