Real Estelí vs Franca is the last game of the Quarter-Finals

MANAGUA (Nicaragua) – The last Quarter-Finals match will be the Saturday's main course in the Polideportivo Alexis Argüello in Managua. At home, Real Estelí, will receive Franca from Brazil, looking for a place in the Semi-Finals.

The Nicaraguan team wants to go further than it did in the BCL Americas' first edition, when it was eliminated in the Quarter-Finals by Instituto de Córdoba. This time, David Rosario's team has more experience, thanks to Renaldo Balkman and Jezreel De Jesús' leadership.

The coach spoke before the match and said: "It's an interesting match because of the scale of the event, and because of what it represents to play the final phase in Nicaragua. It's a difficult match for both, even though they're the favorites. They're a solid team all around, with a 10 player rotation and a good defensive balance."

Franca comes to this match after winning second place in Group C, behind San Lorenzo, and will also seek to break the Quarter-Finals barrier, when it lost last year against San Lorenzo. Hélio Rubens is betting on its team's experience, brought by Lucas Dias and André Goes.

André, one of the team's fundamental players, shared his feelings: "Despite not being in the NBB's top positions and not being considered as favorites, I think the tournament has an open format, with three final matches. We know we're strong enough to play these types of matches, we did it in the Paulista Championship, so I think we might surprise people. Real Estelí has the home advantage, but we'll try to surprise them and qualify to the BCL Americas' Semi-Finals."

The last Quarter-Finals match will be at 7:10 p.m. (local time) in the Polideportivo Alexis Argüello, and the winner will play the Semi-Finals against the winner of Quimsa vs Minas Tenis.
