The BCLA champion will hoist a brand new gold trophy

MIAMI (United States) – The winner of the Basketball Champions League Americas will be recognized as the best team in the only continental league in the region. The champion will also have the opportunity to hoist the first shiny new BCLA trophy.

The gold trophy measures 60 centimeters in height. It has 12 laser-cut points made to represent each of the participating teams. At first glance the 12 interlaced bands make the trophy look like a gold basketball hoop net. At the base, it is completed on one side with the FIBA logo and on the other side with the BCL Americas logo and the inscription "Champion 2019-2020".

The medals have the BCLA logo in the front and a “2019-2020” inscription, while on the back the FIBA logo is surrounded by the logos of the 12 participating teams of this first edition.

The champions will don gold medals while runner-up medals are silver-plated. They are completed with a 35mm wide ribbon with the BCLA logo.

In addition, the runner-up will receive a stainless-steel Tray of 49 x 33 cm, with velvet cover, with the inscription "2nd Place 2019-2020" and FIBA and BCLA logos.

The pieces were created by Rilux, company founded in 2000 in Belo Horizonte (Brazil), developer of design projects in award segments. Rilux has has state-of-the-art equipment to transform metal into varied objects and has customers in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Spain and the United States.
