San Lorenzo reacts, defeats Bigua in overtime
There was no Halloween night for San Lorenzo in Uruguay. At times it seemed they were losing their grasp on the game, but the Argentine team reacted on time and continues at a steady pace in the Basketball Champions League Americas.
It was a 97-91 win against Biguá in a heart-stopping game that needed overtime to determine a winner. The Uruguayans had an unbeatable situation when they took a 5-point lead with 1:02 left of the game. San Lorenzo took advantage of bad passages from the home team to send the game into overtime.
The team coached by Facundo Müller was led offensively by Dar Tucker, who had 32 points and 9 rebounds. Meanwhile, Nicolás Aguirre and Marcos Mata took the reins of the Argentine champion in the closing moments of the game, with 11 of the last 15 points.
