Who can clinch World Cup qualification and how in Window 4 of the African Qualifiers

ABIDJAN (Cote d'Ivoire) - In the build-up to Window 4 of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup African Qualifiers scheduled for later this month in Abidjan and Monastir, we bring you different scenarios of certain team's chances to qualify for the Final Round of the 32-nation showpiece.

Window 4 of the African Qualifiers will run from August 26 to 28, and some teams could grab their tickets for the Indonesia-Japan-Philippines Basketball World Cup by the end of this month even though there is still Window 5 to be played in February 2023.

Ahead of Window 4 of the previous FIBA Basketball African Qualifiers, Nigeria and Tunisia sat in the pole position in the race for the China 2019. Both teams became the first African teams to qualify with three games left thanks to their 9-0 record each.

And, in the current African Qualifiers campaign, two teams (Cote d'Ivoire and South Sudan) can replicate Nigeria and Tunisia's achievements if they win their next three games.

However, there is a lot more to look forward to in the upcoming Window 4 of the African Qualifiers, and below you can find out more how teams can secure some of the five tickets available for African countries for the World Cup.
