China 2019 global ambassador Bryant passes on values to Shenzhen school students
SHENZHEN (China) - FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 global ambassador Kobe Bryant had a busy few days in Shenzhen last week in preparing for and then headlining the star-studded draw on Saturday night.
The 5-time NBA champions and 2-time Olympic gold medalists also took time to visit one of the city's local schools on Sunday morning, when he talked to the young students about the importance of empathy, teamwork and mentorship, values that are essential in the game of basketball and in life in general.

The values are also at the center of The Winezard Series, a set of five novels created by Bryant. The students in Shenzhen got a sneak peak of the first of the five books, which went on sale on Tuesday.
