The squad features plenty of standout performers in the Basketball Champions League, including PAOK star Linos Chrysikopoulos, the Gameday 7 MVP after his outstanding performance in his team's upset of Iberostar Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

Core members of the impressive Promitheus Patras team in the BCL - Christos Saloustros, Leonidas Kaselakis, Dimitrios Katsivelis and Nikos Gkikas - are in Thanasis Skourtopoulos' group.

Bourousis and Larentzakis have been star performers for Greece in the European Qualifiers

Greece, who currently sit top of Group L with a 9-1 record,  head into their final two games at home to Georgia on February 21 in Heraklion and at Germany on February 24, in Bamberg, as the No. 8 team in the Ranking. The Germans have also won 9 games with their only loss at Greece on November 30, 92-84.

That game, therefore, is likely to decide first place in the group.
