MELBOURNE (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers) - Australia will play both games of the second leg of their Asian Qualifiers campaign at home against the Philippines and Chinese Taipei.

Both fixtures will be played at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, which has a full seating capacity of 7,500. This arena is a multi-purpose venue that has hosted tennis, netball and basketball matches. Melbourne United of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) count the Margaret Court Arena as their homecourt.
Australia are entering the second window as hot favorites in their group, especially after their dominant showing in the first window last November, where they trounced Chinese Taipei, 104-66, and Japan, 82-58.
If the Boomers succeed in registering back-to-back home wins in the second window, they will have practically booked their tickets to the next round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers.
