Mixture of youth and veterans in Chinese Taipei's Asian Qualifiers pool
TAIPEI (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers) - Several seasoned veterans have been called up to join a host of young players for Chinese Taipei's second Asian Qualifiers window pool.
Eleven of Taipei's twelve players from the first window have be recalled to the pool, including naturalized player Quincy Davis and the country's representatives in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) - Chou Yi-Hsiang, Liu Cheng and Hu Long-Mao.

Making a return to the national team is one of their former stalwarts, Chang Tsung-Hsien, who has been hampered by injury these past few years. The last time he played for the national team at this level was back in 2011.
The youngest player in the pool is 17-year-old Jonah Morrison, who is among Taipei's best high school players. The 2.02m Morrison already played for Taipei at the FIBA U17 World Championship 2016, and he is seen as one of the country's brightest prospects for the future. Other promising young talents include Chen Kuan-Chuan, Chen Ying-Chun, Huang Tsung-Han, Lee Kai-Yan and Yu Huan-Ya, all of whom are no older than 24 years old.
Chinese Taipei open their second window campaign in Yokohama to face Japan on 22 February. They return to action three days later, playing Australia at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne.
