BEIRUT (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers) - Lebanon will travel to Manila and have two preparation games against the Philippines as they get ready for the fifth window of the Asian Qualifiers.

The Cedars currently carry a 6-win, 2-loss record in the second round after beating China but bowing to New Zealand in the previous window and need to win at least one of their games in the fifth window to further boost their chances of qualifying for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China.

Projected to continue leading the charge for Lebanon are leading scorer Amir Saoud along with big men Ater Majok, Ali Haidar and Bassel Bawji. Veterans Jean Abd El Nour and Elie Rustom are also expected to add more depth to the squad, which have not made it to the Basketball World Cup since 2010.

Lebanon will face the Philippines on 23 and 25 November before flying to Busan to play Korea at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium on 29 November. Afterwards, the Cedars take on China at the Foshan International Sports Arena on 2 December.
