Fans can now get their tickets for the Philippines' fifth window fixtures

MANILA (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers) - Filipino fans can now purchase their tickets for the next two games of Team Pilipinas at the Asian Qualifiers.

Tickets for the Philippines' two matches in the fifth window became available today, with the Filipinos first facing Kazakhstan on 30 November and then colliding with Iran on 3 December. Both games will be held in Pasay City at the Mall of Asia Arena, which was the venue for the FIBA Asia Cup 2013 and the Manila leg of the FIBA OQT 2016.

Meanwhile, Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Special Assistant to the President Ryan Gregorio also announced that the Team Pilipinas pool for the upcoming window will be released in the first week of November.

The Philippines currently carry a 5-win, 3-loss slate in the second round and are fresh off a much needed win over Qatar, 92-81, in the fourth window. They will play the Steppe Wolves for the first time in the Asian Qualifiers, and they will look for some payback against Team Melli, which beat them in the previous window, 81-73.

If Team Pilipinas manage to win both home games in the fifth window, they will significantly inch closer to officially clinching tickets to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China.
