FIBA Basketball World Cup ticket in hand, Venezuela announce roster for last window
CARACAS (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers) – With World Cup ticket already secured, Venezuela announced the 12 players that will feature for the team during the last window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers.

Nestor Colmenares, Jose Vargas and Heissler Guillent will maintain perfect attendance for the Venezuelans in the Qualifiers and will lead the offense for the team. Meanwhile, David Cubillan will make his official return to the team. Jose Materan will make his senior Venezuelan National Team debut.

"The preparation will definitely take place in Santo Domingo, the group of players that will play the Liga de las Americas with Guaros de Lara in Puerto Rico will travel directly to the Dominican Republic, as will the players that we have abroad. Coach Duró formed a solid group that will give everything to continue the winning streak with the novelty of José Materán and the return of David Cubillán," said Daniel Domínguez, General Manager of the Venezuelan National Team in the Press Release.
During the last window of the Qualifiers, Venezuela will face the Dominican Republic at the Palacio de los Deportes in Santo Domingo on February 21. The team will then travel to St John’s, Canada to face the Canadian National Team on February 24.
