WUHAN (FIBA Basketball World Cup) - The Naismith Trophy, fresh from completing the European leg of the Trophy Tour, travelled to Wuhan, China this week as part of promotional activities carried out by FIBA's Global Partner PEAK and coinciding with the 5th FIBA Asia Cup.

The leading Chinese sportswear manufacturing company held a news conference early in the week when it officially unveiled the Naismith Trophy to an audience of the country's media as well as representatives of the Iran Basketball Federation (whose men's national team is competing in the FIBA Asia Cup in preparation for the FIBA Basketball World Cup).

Since then, the prize to be given to the basketball world champions on 14 September has been on display at PEAK's stand inside the Wuhan Sports Center for all spectators and passers-by to admire until the tournament ends on Saturday 19 August.

PEAK also used the opportunity to reveal the jerseys that will be worn at FIBA's flagship event in Spain by the teams they provide official equipment for - Australia, Iran, New Zealand and Serbia.
