LE LOCLE (FIBA Basketball World Cup) - Tissot, the Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches and a FIBA Global Partner, on Thursday launched a limited edition watch dedicated to commemorate the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain (30 August-14 September).

The Tissot Quickster FIBA Limited Edition 2014 bears the famous precision which has seen the company serve as the Official Timekeeper of FIBA since 2008.

The inspiration behind the unique timepiece comes from timing some of the most important games in the world.

Only 2014 of these watches - with the FIBA Basketball World Cup logo engraved on the caseback - are being produced.

The love of the game is illustrated by a bright orange aluminium ring that reminds the wearers of the basketballs that rule the courts, the shadow of which is cast on the dial with a special black-on-black finish. The embossed surrounding of the counters give it a bold attitude fit to compete, while other details such as orange indices in the counters and stitching on the leather strap add to its stylish and sporty look.
