    BEIRUT (Lebanon) – The road to FIBA Asia Cup 2025 starts this Thursday with the Pre-Qualifier Group A and B games tipping off in Doha, Qatar and Jenin, Palestine, respectively.

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) – The road to FIBA Asia Cup 2025 starts this Thursday with the Pre-Qualifier Group A and B games tipping off in Doha, Qatar and Jenin, Palestine, respectively.

    All 7 games of these groups will be streamed live on FIBA Asia Cup Facebook and FIBA YouTube channel.

    Which teams will play the Pre-Qualifiers this week?
    Groups A and B contain three teams each. Qatar, who will host Group A in Doha, will have neighboring United Arab Emirates and Oman. In Group B, hosts Palestine will face off against Kuwait and Iraq.

    Games of Groups C and D will be played later this year.

    How teams qualify to the FIBA Asia Cup 2025
    The first round will advance a total of 12 teams to the second round. These teams will be divided into 2 groups with 6 teams in each group. A total of 8 teams (Top 4 from each group) will join the 16 teams who will play the FIBA Asia Cup 2022 in July in Jakarta, Indonesia.
