Jordan, Kazakhstan next to clinch tickets to Jakarta for Asia Cup 2021

AMMAN (Jordan) - Jordan and Kazakhstan are now among the next teams to officially qualify for FIBA Asia Cup 2021 following the results of today’s game in the Asia Cup Qualifiers.

They join Lebanon, Bahrain, and Iran as teams to have qualified through the first-ever Asia Cup Qualifiers while Indonesia is also qualified as hosts of the event.

This leaves 10 spots that are still up for grabs for the premier event in Jakarta later this year.

The top two teams in each Group at the end of the Asia Cup Qualifiers will clinch direct qualification to the Asia Cup, as Lebanon, Bahrain, and Iran have. The remaining spots will be secured through the Qualifying Tournament for Third Place teams.
