Invaluable volunteers helped carry FIBA Asia Cup to success
BEIRUT (FIBA Asia Cup 2017) - The best of Asia and Oceania were on full display at the FIBA Asia Cup 2017, but the true heroes were the volunteers who devoted their time and effort to the landmark event.
Let's celebrate these individuals who collectively helped the FIBA Asia Cup run as smoothly as it did in front of some of the most passionate basketball fans in the entire world.
The FIBA Asia Cup 2017 had 188 volunteers helping out in various aspects of the event like media, arena, security, VIP and administration, among others. Most of these volunteers were young locals who were willing to sacrifice their time for the game they love and to be close to the action.
