The reasons to follow the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018 Inter-Subzone Qualifications

NONTHABURI (FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018 East Inter-Subzone Qualifications) - There’s only one more step towards the Final 8 round of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018 and there will be only two out of three teams who will be advancing to the grand finale.

That guarantees plenty of action and emotion between Mono Vampire Basketball Club (THA), Pauian Archiland (TPE), and Pelita Jaya (INA) to behold in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018 Inter-Subzone Qualifiers form July 30 to August 1 in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

Here are the reasons why you shouldn’t miss a single moment!

  1. Tickets to the Big Stage at stake

The three teams will be playing for two tickets to the Final 8 round of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2018, which means that one of these teams will be leaving the tournament empty handed. Mono Vampire Basketball Club (2017) and Pauian (2016) have recent stints in the final round of the club championship, both finishing in 6th place in their respective participating years. Pelita Jaya, on the other hand, are trying to make a strong push without any recent trips to the FIBA Asia Champions Cup in recent memory.

  1. Clash of Champions

The participating trio of teams are among the best clubs in their respective countries. Mono Vampire are the champions of the Thailand Basketball League (TBL) in 2017. Pelita Jaya were the champions of the Indonesia Basketball League (IBL) in 2017. Pauian Archiland conquered the Taiwan Super Basketball League (SBL) earlier this year.

This confirms that each team will be strutting among the highest level of talent that their respective countries can supply to go up against each other.

  1. Star Power

Since these are the top squads of their nations, there will be plenty of stars and familiar faces for fans to see. Mono Vampire Basketball Club’s rosters are always loaded with Thailand National Team talent like Sorot Sunthonsiri, Tawatcha Suktub, and Chitchai Ananti.

Pelita Jaya will be fielding some young up-and-coming players like Hardianus Lakudu, Juan Laurent Kokodiputra, and Respati Ragil Pamungkas.

The 5-time SBL champion Pauian Archiland won’t be fielding their usual stars of Quincy Davis and Douglas Creighton, but will have Elliott Tan to shine in the spotlight.
