CHENZHOU (FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2017) - Sareyyet Ramallah rebounded from their opening day loss by overcoming a cold shooting Chooks-To-Go Philippines in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2017.

A day after dropping an overtime thriller against Mono Vampire Thailand, Palestinian side Sareyyet Ramallah picked up a big win by beating the Filipinos, 89-82. Coach Guy Arnaud's squad utilized superior shooting, rebounding and playmaking to hold the Filipinos at bay. Sareyyet led by as many as 14 points in the game, but they could not completely put the hard fighting Filipinos away till the dying seconds.

Three of coach Guy's players finished with 20 points or more, led by Anthony Weeden's 22. Big man Todd O'Brien also did well with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while wingman Jamal Abu Shamala added his own double-double of 21 points and 12 boards.

Chooks-To-Go struggled from the field all game long, hitting just 5 of their 28 three-point attempts and only 27of-71 from the field overall. Kiefer Ravena impressed anew with 24 points on 8-of-15 field goal shooting, but even his output fell way short of being able to carry his team to their second win.
