Chinese Taipei finalise U18 roster for Women's Championship in Thailand
TAIPEI (FIBA Asia U18 Championship for Women 2016) - Chinese Taipei have named their final roster that will compete at this year’s FIBA Asia U18 Championship for Women in Bangkok, Thailand.
Only three players who participated in the 2015 FIBA Asia U16 Championship for Women have been included in the U18 team.
Kao Yu-Lin, Su Chia-Hsien and Chen Meng-Hsien were all part of the Chinese Taipei U16 Women’s team that finished 4th in Medan, Indonesia last year.

One name however that is not on the list is Wen Si-Han. The 2000-year born, who was her team's top-scorer in Medan, will miss the U18 Championship.
Chinese Taipei will take on defending champions China, Japan, Korea, India and hosts Thailand in Level I of the FIBA Asia U18 Championship for Women 2016.
The 23rd FIBA Asia Championship for women is the qualifying event for the 2017 FIBA U19 Women’s World Championship, set to take place in Cairo, Egypt next year. The top three teams from the 23rd FIBA Asia U18 Championship for Women will represent Asia at the 2017 FIBA U19 Women’s World Championship.
The last time Chinese Taipei qualified for the FIBA Asia U19 Women’s World Championship was back in 2011 after finishing third in the 2010 FIBA Asia U18 Championship for Women in Surat Thani, Thailand.
