Here's what we have gathered to answer some of the questions heading into Amman 2023.

1.93 M (6'4")

Height of the 2023 edition's tallest players, namely Lara Somfai and Zoe Jackson of Australia; and China center Yaqi Liang.

Age of the three youngest players in the Amman 2023 field - the Syrian tandem of Zeina Backour and Shatha Arabi, as well as Thailand forward Yanisa Piampratchayakun.

If a team outside of China, Japan, and Australia wins Division A, they will become just the fourth team to win the FIBA U16 Women's Asian Championship, which began in 2009.

Amount of head coaches, in both divisions, that have previously represented their countries in various FIBA and international women's basketball tournaments - 2004 Olympian Natsumi Yabuuchi of Japan, Hong Kong mentor Kin Ho Koon, Malaysia's Pang Hui Pin, and Naruemol Banmoo of Thailand.

Of the four, though, Pang is the only active member of the national team. She recently played in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, and could potentially participate in the FIBA Women's Asia Cup 2023 - Division B in August in Thailand.

Winner of Amman 2023 - Division B will become just the third team to earn the promotion to the topflight level after India and Samoa, which are debuting in Division A this year.
