Sakura Noguchi, Misa Hayashi and Aika Hirashita combined to score 33 points in leading the Japanese, who forced 22 Chinese turnovers and showcased better teamwork with 15 assists to just 9 from China. Liu Yutong paced the losing side 20 points and 19 rebounds.
