Colombia aim high with preselected roster for AmeriCup 2022 Qualifiers
BOGOTÁ (Colombia) - The Colombian Basketball Federation (Fecolcesto) announced a preselection of 16 players who will participate in the second window of the AmeriCup 2022 Qualifiers, which will be played between the November 27 and 30.

"We are very happy to have these players. A great effort has been made to have called the best in the country. We are going to try to do something important for Colombia," said Moreno.
Group A has its four teams with the same 1-1 record. That means the results of this second window are very important. All countries from Group A will fight to punch their ticket to the 2022 AmeriCup but only the best three will earn that right.
"The players we have taken into account have a track record. We'll have good games if each player fulfills their role. It will be difficult because of what Venezuela and Argentina represent, but we hope that the boys show their full potential and that they play as a team. Defense is going to be the most important thing for us and we are going to work on that," added Moreno.
